This year the University will only announce 5 cut off lists unlike 9-10 cut off lists that were announced until previous year. The registered candidates will be required to apply in the colleges/courses against vacant seats through the UG admission portal.
The first cut-off list will be declared on June 27, 2016 and the fifth cut-off will be declared on July 16, 2016. If seats are vacant even after the fifth cut-off list in some of the colleges Delhi University will further announce dates for admission for those vacant seats. The final cut-off of DU is declared by the University itself for various courses and categories. The cut-off will be available for the students in Delhi University website and even in newspapers. The university compiles the cut-off in the office of the Registrar and makes it accessible for the students.
All the students who have already filled the Delhi University registration form and fulfill the cut-off marks declared by DU will have to visit the college of their choice and fill the college admission form. There is no first come first service basis policy for Delhi University admission. Students will get a maximum period of three days to complete their enrollment process under the first five cut-off list. After taking admission to their respective colleges students need to verify their required documents form the college authorities. The students then have to submit their forms and pay the admission fee. The candidate can also withdraw admission by submitting a withdraw application form and then go to another college they are seeking to take admission. If the students take two admissions for two courses at the same time, both the admission will get cancelled.
For seeking admission in any of the Delhi University colleges, the students need to fill the online registration form. Delhi University has introduced a Centralized Admission Process for the students. There is no age limit for students who want to seek admission in Delhi University. The registration fee for general category is Rs.100 and for SC/ST is RS.50.
